Hello, I have a 2001 SV650S and a problem I've noticed is that after warming up the bike and riding for about 10-15 minutes the RPMs go from a normal idle of 1300 to 2500-3000 RPM. This only happens when I'm at a stoplight and I pull in the clutch and the bike idles. Today the problem got worse, and I was at 4000+ RPM on my ride back home at every stop. Is it a carb issue or a vacuum leak or something else entirely?

Use a can of carb cleaner to spray around while it's running. If the revs increase you've found your leak. Welcome to SVR.
