I swear the engine noise is louder ever since I put in some new spark plugs. I used the same gap that my old dirty ones had (which was within the recommended width). It seems like some sort of engine chatter. Especially the first few minutes after starting and even more so when cold outside. I think I hear it on the road too, getting faster in frequency with speed, but it is hard to tell with a helmet on, and a loud exhaust. The best I can describe it is that it sounds like a very faint noise resembling a card in a bicycle wheel's spokes.
Is this normal? If so, why didn't it sound this way before?
