Changed the oil on the bike tonight.

Noticed a drain plug other than the 'normal' drain plug used for an oil change. Had a hex head on it.

It's more to the right side of the bike, nearer the exhaust pipe than the 'normal' plug.

Would it hurt to drain the oil out using this plug?

It's not a drain plug, you won't get all the oil out if you use it. Leave it be and use the correct plug.

Good to know.

I didn't use that plug, I was just curious, as I didn't find anything in my service manual about it last night when I got home from school and was looking.

I used the proper plug for my oil change last night.
