Like the complete noob I am, I let the SV run past her maintenance interval.

I guess the jump from 3500mi to 8200mi snuck up on me. (Riding has been nice :nana:)

So now, having changed the oil previously using the normal Suzuki dyno stuff, I was looking into switching to synthetic.

Now, my question here is. While running over isnt too terrible, is there any kind of damage that can result from doing so? If so, what can I look for to insure everything is happy inside my motor.

Thanks!

If it starts, it will run. You live in Florida where it is warm. In Malaysia, we used to run cars for 2 years before changing the oil and the oil would still come out golden.

Change the oil, give it a kiss on the tank, and away you go. :)
I don't know what it is but I still feel bad for doing it to her.

$28.00 on oil and $15.00 for a filter should help make up for it. :nana:
