So. I wrapped my exhaust and somewhere I read (can't remember where) to run the engine on idle for 20 mins let it cool. Then ride it slow for 20 mins and let it cool. And then run it on the freeway for 20 mins and let it cool. This will help the wrap set in...

I let it idle Sunday night for 20 mins. Then last night for 20 mins.

This morning the battery was dead?!

I'm at a loss. Do you have to run it at a higher RPM for the alternator to charge the battery?

I bought it new in aug 08 and have never had problems with it.
