I have a Scorpion Oval Slip on for an 05 (in Carbon fiber) but I really want a shorty - can I cut the CF with out screwing it up?

OR - anybody have a short one they'd wanna trade? does not have to be carbon fiber. I know this is highly unlikely but WTF...

Wrap in it in tape and start sawin. Carbon fiber cuts like butter w/ even a dull hacksaw.
