Well today is a sad day I wrecked my 05 sv650. The funny thing was that it was at like 10mph and in front of 20 people. I grabbed to much front brake and did a nose dive hopefully with the money from the damage I can put the after market parts on that I want.

Ouch!! By "nose dive" you mean front tire locked up and you went down or you did an unintentional stoppie? Either way, sorry it happened. As crashes go, however, that sounds like a relatively good one :)

How much damage? You're going to claim it?

Possibly a Youtube video will surface showing the whole thing happening, then show it again in slow motion. :nana: Im kidding of course.

My worst fear (haha).. Where I park at school is chained off except for a small opening big enough for my bike, I hope I never hit one of those poles on either side of the opennig and fall off in front of the people who are always hanging out there. That would be :'(

Good luck with your bike, it's all a part of the learning process. Just make sure you get back on and learn from this.

1st things first, your avatar phucking rocks.

sorry to hear about your bike, fellow dog faced soldier.

it might be cheaper to fix some of the damage yourself than taking it to the shop. posting some pics might help.

So I am still wondering exactly what happened... Did you go over the handle bars? Or did you just stoppie then fall over? Or did you lock up the front tire and slid out?
