This is ridiculous. It makes a large impact on children who enjoy riding and their families. In addition, dealerships must be pretty hacked off about their inventory that can no longer be sold. Normally, I wouldn't get too fired up about this kind of thing. However, this one really hit close to home.

awesome.

more "but think of the children" feel-good, do-nothing, knee-jerk legislation to use as talking points while you run for election. Every son of a motherfruckers on capitol hill should be gutted and used as catfish bait.

This law is terribly thought out. I saw another article that said many charitable organizations are going to have to trash their complete inventory of kids products and not accept new donations because of this stupid law.

Yamaha's are comming back to show rooms here.

Great NEWS!!!! We can sell yamahas again, so far its only yamaha, all the bikes and atvs that were pulled off the floor get a new tag that says:

"This Vehicle has not been tested for lead content as required for products intended for children 12 years and younger.

Due to new federal lead content restrictions to reduce potential health risks to children, this vehicle is only recommended for users over 12 years of age"[\QUOTE]
