has anyone painted their side radiator covers on an 03? i think they are all the same up to 08.

i'd like to go with a black maybe. what kind of paint do you recommend?

also, what about painting the plastic side panels on each side that you have to pull off to get the seat and gas tank off? some sort of special plastic paint?

i would just use some high temp paint or get it powder coated. for the sides i wouldnt paint them, it would rub off eventually.

Hi sdobbs20, I bought an extra pair of side panels and was planning on painting them the same color as the bike.

Then I ended up buying the carbon fiber side panels, lol.
