Curious as to favorite seats!

I have the Corbin. I like it, but it's LOWER, so you'll loose leg room. Not bad if you are short, sucks if you are over 5'10"
Wife has the OEM GEL. She hates the shape of my Corbin and how hard it is. She isn't crazy about the Gel, but it's better than the stocker and better than my corbin according to her. I don't like the GEL seat because it's the same 'shape' as the stocker, so it puts too much pressure on my thighs on the sharp edges of the seat (where it transitions from 'seat' to side of seat.)

I HIGHLY suggest you try to find people who have the various seats in your area and try to cop a seat swap for a short ride. You may love one, you may hate one.

To resurrect this topic, I have a question about seat cover materials. In addition to being as comfortable as a concrete park bench, one of my objections to the stock seat is that I keep sliding forward until I am almost sitting on the tank. Does the seat covering of the Sargent (or Corbin) seat help to keep the rider in place a bit better? Or is the foam shaped to achieve the same effect?

And since I was considering the Spencer rework as a cheaper alternative to the Sargent/Corbin, does he shape his foam so as to help keep the rider in place? (in my case I find being centered on the seat to be the most comfortable).
