How is this any different than any other college sport out there?

People in VA, and it seems, the south in general, seem to be insane in the membrane with this whole basketball thing. Is it because I was born in NY, and basketball was hardly ever covered?

I think it's all about betting but I don't watch the game so that's just a guess.

I hate college basketball but everyone down in Bama loves it. I'm sick of seeing an hour of "bracketology" on Sportcenter every morning. We don't do this crap with any other sport, I don't see how b-ball is different. I'd rather watch a real game like football, you stand still with a ball and you get your head removed by a 250lb free safety.
