Hey guys,
I just finished lubing my clutch cable, and adjusted it via the Clutch Mantra. Now it seems to be emitting a ticking (which turns into a buzz) at speed. More specifically, this sound seems to originate at the front sprocket cover.
It makes this light tapping sound in any gear or in neutral. What I have been doing to hear it clearly is accelerating to around 10 MPH, hitting the kill switch with the clutch in, and coasting to a stop while listening to it click. I should note that in neutral the noise can be heard with the clutch lever in any position.
It doesn't sound like any chain noise that I've ever heard. Any ideas?
