Hey all

After posting on here about a stiff clutch lever I decided to strip and clean the mechanism. It was properly gummed with crap up and when I took off the screw release assy all the bearings fell out. I bought a new one and fitted it but it doesn’t throw the pin in at all to disengage the clutch. It’s identical to the old one and I haven’t adjusted the cable at all. When I pull the cable it just doesn’t rotate the mechanism enough to move the pin. Does that make sense? What am I missing! Desperately need this fixed to ride the bike tomorrow to work.

Because im still working on it lol think I have just figured it out. The screw in the middle needed to be adjusted in to touch the pin.
Damn thing won’t start now though. Must be to do with clutch switch.

It doesn’t travel very far at all. So little you wonder how it works. Might back it off to see if engine starts. Then readjust.
