Let me preface this by saying that, yes, I am an idiot. Feel free to mock me if the answer to this is obvious.
I have a couple of decals on my clutch cover that I would like to protect...mostly from being marred by my toe. Is there a clear coat that I could put over it that would not be affected by the heat of the clutch cover? Also, will most clear coats damage the decals chemically?
