Finally got around to fitting my Aliexpress rear hugger! Cost me $40. Scored some aluminium plate from work and made my own bracket and here's the result. Looking at some of the offerings from a number of aftermarket suppliers, the relatively high prices were putting me off. After all, it's just a lump of plastic! Anyhow, a bit of research and I turned up one for a suitable for a V-Strom and thought, what the hell, I'll just make it fit. Other than having to make the bracket, it fits really well. Tarted it up with a bit of paint I had knocking around and Bob's your uncle. Fitted a colour coded front mudguard extension too from the same source. Again, had to paint it myself but I reckon it looks alright!

Looking sharp Nowhere Man. Where is your aluminum bracket installed, on the chain side?
