I finished the 20Wt, Springs, and Emulators a week ago or so.
130mm oil level and 35mm Sag.

I hit the road for the first time without earplugs Sunday and noticed something.

I am getting a sort of clunky chatter sound during high speed compression only. I'm not positive it is suspension but that is the most logical assumption.

Any ideas of what's the problem if there is any?

P.S. - Get as technical as you want, I can handle the sticky stuff.

When you say high speed compression do you mean when you hit a sharp bump? If so, i get that clunk sound as well. There was a post a while ago that stated that a screw within the steering head needed to be tightened. He said it fixed the clunk sound.

Yes when the front wheel moves fast. It does not happen if I push on the bars or hit a "hump".

I think I remember that post. I had doubts it was the internals themselves for some reason. Maybe I will rebuild the steering head when I switch to pilot powers :D .

Thanks for the reply.
