My old rears were down to the metal. DIdn't reaiize it was that bad till I took my old pads out. Oops ;D

It was way easier than I expected it to be. I can't believe I almost paid to have someone do it for me.

hooray, did you replace the rotor too since it was down to the metal?

It took me a few unexpected (and wild) slides of the rear before I checked my pads. They were down to metal rubbing against the rotors. This reminds me I'm about due to check them again.

excuse the newbie question, but do the brakes not have squeelers like car brake pads? I would think that the metal to metal would be more evident.
