hey i have a 650s that has a full faring kit undertail flushmounts on the front pipe hugger and custome chain guard but am think of switching some of it over to carbon to shave weight and add looks any recomendations on where to find parts and where to swap out for carbon.

How much weight do you think you will actually save going from plastic to carbon fiber? Or are your custom parts metal? There is a site carbon guy here.

Upgrading to carbon is really just for the bling factor. Not necessarily a huge gain in weight savings.

For a carbon hugger/chain guard you will have to go to ebay.

If you want to save weight, strip the bike down. For instance, remove the passenger pegs if you don't carry another person frequently. That's easily a few pounds and you don't have to spend any money. Could also get some aftermarket rearsets and save a few ounces there.
