I would check for a torn carb diaphragm if it were me.
can't go over 5k rpm

My apologies for my bad english, i hope you will understand what i'm asking about.
Question: i got year 2k sv650, and today after riding about 100 km, the bike suddenly start tuging at 5k rpm, and i couldn't go over 5k rpm. And the engine was stalling and tuging at max 5k rpm. Don't know what is wrong, if i put in to neutral the bike normaly wind up to the red zone. If it's in transsmision no matter from 1-6 the bike is normally working to 5k rpm, than start tuging, and no more power to go over that.
