I am new to the sv experience. I just got a 2003 SV1000 used in great condition with 3300 miles on it. I have put a total of 50 miles on it when I noticed a buzzing noise coming from my front discs. It only happens when I apply the front brakes and not the rear or when I turn. I did not know what it was so I took it to the dealership where a got it (it still has the warranty) and they said that it is normal to make that noise? Now I believe the dealership (right), but I have been ridding for about 6 years and have never heard that noise. So I decided to ask the good people of this forum, WHAT IS THAT NOISE??? There is still over 60% of the pads left!!! Should I be worried? Is it normal?

Thanks in advance

many folks said after you switch to wave rotors, you will miss this "cool" sound.

I had thought this was odd, as my old Katana never made this noise. dealer said was normal. So i guess it is.
