Gosh, I've just never had the desire to own a Buell, in any iteration. Re-launching during a pandemic seems kind of oblivious too. I have to figure a lot of their typical market doesn't have the expendable income for a new specialty bike.
If only we could find a light v-twin sportbike that is comfortable, handles well, and appeals to a broad audience - oh wait - Suzuki has done this for millennia.
I wish Buell and H-D well with their new 1200cc V-Twin adventure and roadster models. However I have a feeling the future is in mid-size bikes like the Triumph Trident, Tiger 900, and the Aprilia 660. The trend is towards lighter and cheaper bikes. I don't see much need for >1000cc engines and beyond on the street, especially in the US with its strict speed limits.
