ok i know there are alot of threads already started just for this headlight setup but i have some questions too.

i have the part number for the buell headlight assembly, but do i just go to a HD dealership and order them there or somewhere else?

what brackets are the people using when they use the buell setup is on


so if someone could post up some threads to point me in the right direction and answer some of the questions above. that would be of great help

thats the cheapest around. as for brackets, you can use the stock naked ones, but they need to be extended out about 2 inches. (for a 2nd gen, not sure about first.)

are the buell light bulbs the same as the SV, i mean are the bulbs also H4 pattern the same as the plug on the SV already?

or do we just put the sv lights in the housing

it comes with bulbs, you just have to splice the wires and your good to go

I have everything you need for the Buell conversion. I had my 2001 SV650S converted last summer and decided to switch it back and sale it.

Ok I understand how to hook up the buell lights but what if I want to put HIDs in the housing how would that work with the wires from that? Also where would the ballasts be put? Has anyone done this with there buell lights before

Hey thanks for the web link! I got my headlights in tonight...What do you suggest using for the extension for the stock naked brackets? And what exactly do you use to take up the space to meet up the headlight mounting

Are you asking for pictures of the buell headlights? There's a ton of SV's on here with them, shouldnt take long to find one.

The windscreen is sold seperately from the headlights, as is the headlight/windscreen bracket.
