I haven't changed the brake fluid for 29k miles and finally about to do it with a help of mechanic friend. Although he doesn't seem to know any better, or at least working with ABS. I read that ABS need different steps to bleed the brake lines, as there are many valves and such on the ABS unit.

So on a 07SV650s, what are the things to watch out so I don't mess it up. Any good mechanic in Bay Area- Oakland or nearby who knows this stuff?Thanks

I've bled them many times and there's no difference from normal procedure.

The special tool was something i read on this board. While there exists such tools, they are not needed imo. Speed bleeders are nice though..
