i was in a really dumb hurry to get the wiring done with my aztec 8 conversion and i ended up cutting the end of the headlights connection that belongs to the main wiring harness(the one that costs $300ish). i'd normally just splice some extra wire onto the snipped ends but again i was being stupid and cut too close to the connector itself. is there any easy way to replace this connector? all the fiches i've seen show it attached to the main harness...

Take the pins out of the connector and let's see if we can match them. They have to be some sort of crimp on pins.

gotcha, thanks for the suggestion i'd thought they were permanently sealed in the connector. just got all 6 pins out with the help of an x-acto knife(and a small cut or two on the fingers). gonna head to home depot to try and find some matching connectors asap

e-rod, if you have the contacts out of the connector shell, try prying open the crimps, and solder the wires to the contacts. Then, you can close up the crimped parts again.

+1... or even just soldering to the stub of a wire and shrink wrapping.
