Getting some mixed answers from my local sources. Is the base gasket on our bikes reuseable? I hit the search function and read thru some things but nothing specific popped out at me. Thanks guys.

That is what a lot of people are saying. Others are saying they do it all the time if its not damage/ leaking, and last a few friends say they change them reguardless.

Depends on its condition. If all the rubbery stuff is intact, it's fine. They're pretty cheap so if you can, I recommend buying new.

Even though this is a budget build I want to do it right, so I think I'll go back new. CYO

base gasses are cheap. id just buy some for good measure. Head gaskets are the pricey ones.
