Last night i started up the bike for the first time all day, And there was this huge backfire. Like a gunshot... I've been riding a helluva lot lately, but yesterday was the first time i left it alone all day then started it at night. I took it for a short run, then turned it off then back on, with no backfire. Any ideas? Am i in trouble? :-\

yeah, but i've been starting it in the cold since march and thats never happened. It was seriously as loud as a gunshot, right when i hit the ignition. nothing to worry about?

There was just a little fuel left over in the carbs. As long as it dosen't do it all the time you should be ok

Just watch the bike closely, make sure that its not doing anything funky. Otherwise you could be in some serious trouble :p, jk

just keep an eye on it, probably nothing, but extra fuel.
