Does anybody know the length and spring rate on this shock yet? There's one up for bid on eBay I'd be interested in if it's similar to the 2004.

Thanks!

Evan, check with svchris, he just did all the research and installed one on his bike as well. I have a 2004 636 unit, and I dig it! I know the spring rates did not change not sure about the length. I also sent him a Powerpoint on how to install.
PS get you jetting done! ;D

What Josh said and more. Very nice shock for OEM. I think the valve body and new type slick seals are better than the GSXR Showa type. We have some in stock. Standard color is gold with red spring, looks like a ZX10R kyb only bigger body and better build quality. The spring is good for most SV riders under 200 lbs, a plus imo. :D

Guys, that's awesome. Thanks very much for the info. Since I'm under 200 lbs (175 or so with gear, although that number seems to be creeping upwards lately ;) ), I'm glad to hear that it's sprung well for me.
