I also had my 01 sv650 run on the dyno.
i have a jardine semi systeem k+n filter raised tank and stock chain and sprockets
bike has 13000 miles when run.

made 64.5 hp
made 42.2 torque

there were 3 other sv's run in the computer so i was the 4th.
i made 3rd best hp out of the 4.
but the guy thinks i have the best midrange out of all of them.
he also told me to change my main jet because it gets choppy up top.
the best sv run on his dyno made 71hp and 46 torque i think.
he had an 01 with busa pistons cams ignition advance ect..

All I can say is thank goodnesss 2nd gens, EFI and more power. lol

i dont care a whole lot for the gen2...they dont feel like they have as much power down low.. the EFI takes away.. but gives it more up top...but i still make more tq than a gen2 :D

How much torque do you make? Mine dyno'd at 47.7 ft/lbs

my torque was 42.2 and blueflsv was like 51

as an ex Suzuki service manager, I have ridiin both 99-02 SV's and the newer 03 no way a STOCK carb'd model could stay with a FI model. Come on now, get real.

the belly pan is a pyramid plastics i think. i like my belly pan it looks good on a first gen. hides all that crap down there.

He has a preaty cool shop
does welding and stocks alot of parts for sportbikes.
i guess after they crash at the gap.
he didnit talk much but he was nice and did dyno runs for 20 bucks. so i figured what the hell why not..
(everyone in this thread got good karma, no reason im just bored.)
