I am planning on taking apart my forks to see if they are bent from my high side.
I want to take the alen bolt out of the bottom of the fork leg. I cant get my 8mm alen socket in there.
What did you guys use to remove this bolt.

You can get it out with a regular old 8mm allen wrench with a box wrench wrapped around the tip for leverage, easy to find at Sears for a couple bucks. Traxxion has a really nifty tool though:

It fits into your normal 8mm socket.

I cut an 8mm allen wrench (using an abrasive cutoff wheel) so that it was about 3 or 4 inches long and slipped it into an 8mm socket. Used this extended setup to crank out the bolt using a pneumatic impact driver.

Yeah, I'm basically lazy- why bend wrenches and cuss when you can get an air compressor to do the work... ;D
