9-13-22 Rode the SV this afternoon to pick up my medication. :D

I brought the Sportster home on 4-24-22...

9-16-22 Rolled the Sportster out and fired it up!

Drained the fluids, going to replace the oil lines from the motor to the oil tank...

Enjoying the Sportster project Eddie. Pardon my naivete, but I had no idea Harley's had the shifter on the right and the brake on the left. For the inexperienced, that could prove to be an interesting first few rides on the Harley.

I actually got a cut on my hand wiping up the oil when I first started the bike, so yea I do not want that to happen again!

9-19-22 While the seat is off, I am using JB Weld to hold the rear bolt that comes through the fender...

I had a nut and washer there, then the seat mount went on top of it. I need to have the seat mount go right onto the fender, then I can put the non-skid pads on the fender so the seat will be directly on the fender!

I drove to Ace Hardware to get the fasteners for the sissy bar and when I left this was in the parking lot...

I remember seeing chrome bike when I was riding not long ago!

9-23-22 The plan is to get a new clutch cable and primary cover gasket, but first i have to get the cable off this goodie...

Going to use rubber hoses again, they are pretty well protected by the motor and the frame!

One line is 1/4" and the other two lines are 3/8". I am learning how this bike is put together by taking it apart! (y)
