7-22-22 I put rear tire on...

Put my SV next to the Sportster, pretty close on the length and quite a difference on the seating positions!

Waiting on a fitting for the front brake. And after I complete the front brake, I will start in the carb rebuild!

Rivet tool for installing front brake pads.

Bottom of tool is made to fit in a vice!

I have the other rivet in place for alignment while tightening the rivet tool!

Done! I read the info this tool, it is for riveting brakes for tractors and specifically for the same size rivet that is also used for front brakes on my Sportster!

After going to the local hardware stores empty handed ended up googling the parts and bought them online!

Was going to put the turn signals in the sides of the fender but might hit tire so I am going to make a bracket that will bolt to the bottom license plate bolts!

Afte getting the fittings I rode to the beach!

8-4-22 Time to put the front brakes together, I started with the master cylinder...

Watched a YouTube video on how to do it, you MacGyver a tool to press the parts in! Trick is to get all the parts in place and put the nut in and then thread it!

Had to grind down a 5/8" wrench so I can turn the nut!
![Sleeve Collar Bumper Blazer Belt buckle]()
Okay the spring and rubber cup is in, have to press the piston in until I can get the clip on.

Next will be the caliper!

8-5-22 Time to do the front caliper...

okay there is an O-ring in the inner groove and I put the seal over the piston so I can get the seal into their grooves as I was pushing the piston in.

Installed the caliper onto its mounts, and put on the new hose line. Had to remove the caliper so I could get the line threaded into it?!

Added brake fluid then had to retighten the brake lines and add more fluid and wipe up the fluid. I think I have it buttoned up, will check it out tomorow!

I had to stop and ask... it is the manager's car asking $90,000 - I was thinking who would trade a new Corvette for a VW?! Or anything else on that lot lol

The gas prices have been going down man it got up there!

Back home I put the Street Triple next to the Sportster, visually they look really close. Well I decided to tape measure the wheelbases: Triumph = 55" SV = 56" Sportster = 59"

Weather has been hot in CA, mid 90's so this morning I went and trimmed the front hedge way back before it gets too hot!

Getting the bike out with the cars by the hedge was tight so cutting it will make life easier!

Decided to bring the carb stuff in the house to work on, yea smart move!
