Today after work, I took the SV out for a couple errands. Took a movie back to the library to avoid some late fees, and then to a local cycle store to get some chain lube.

I parked the bike at the library and was inside for all of a minute or so, and when I came out, I see this young mother grabbing her VERY young son (couldn't have been more than 2) and trying to drag him away from my bike. Now I wasn't concerned about him doing anything to the bike, so I told her that my only concern would be that he tried to touch something that was hot and burned himself. But that kid couldn't take his eyes off the bike. I waved to him and smiled, and he just had this look of complete awe...

I'm sure he'll be riding at some point down the road.

I walked out of walmart and saw a family placing there 3 year old (approx) on my bike and let him play with it as if it was his toy. pushing all the buttons bouncing on it and pulling the clutch/brake levers... i ordered a gorilla alarm the next day.
