the other day i realized i was a little low on oil, not sure why this is, maybe the older the bike gets it starts to burn? it only has 11k miles on it, anyway i noticed there is no dipstick and the lili oil window is covered by my full fairings, do they make dipsticks for an 02 sv?

Hate to say it, but cutting a small hole in the fairing would be the simplest way. You could rig a "water level" remote sight glass, or somehow replace the sight glass with an oil level sensor or...?

Yea I wish it had a dipstick too, just for the simplicity of it, I guess the site glass is simple to but I dont like it.

Maybe Ill just fill mine all the way up to the fill hole, lol. Wont have to worry about running out then.
