I will be joining my friends on June 14th for a ride to Wild Wood NJ from Phila. As listed below the event is intended to remember those P/O's who have fallen serving the city of Phila.

A brief history on the event- The first annual Fallen Heroes Run was last year for P/O Chuck Cassidy, but between the time the event was planned and it occurred tragedy had sturck home twice more. The event morphed into a ride for all our fallen heroes, since last year the unthinkable has yet again struck home with several more Phila Police Officers falling in the line of duty. (P/O Skerski, P/O Cassidy, Sgt. Liczbinski, P/O Nazario, Sgt Simpson, Sgt McDonald, and P/O Pawlowski) To honor all of our heroes my friends, the BULLETS M.C. have again put a lot of work into hosting this event with a lot of much appreciated support from The moose lodge. The event is open to Metric, Sport Bike, even HD riders Below is cut n pasted from another forum I use, any questions please feel free to PM me. I hope to see a great turn out. Ride Safe, Have Fun -- Fish

The BULLETS M.C. will be hosting the 2nd Annual Philly's Fallen Heroes Ride to Wildwood N.J on Sunday June 14, 2009. The ride will cost $20 per person which will get you in the Moose Lodge for the beef n beer. We will be meeting at the Phila Police Academy @ 8501 State Rd with registration being from 9:00am-10:30am. Kickstands up at 11:00am. We will head to Wildwood with full police escort and continue to the Moose Lodge( 314 W. Spruce) for food, drinks, vendors, ect... The Moose Lodge informed me they will donate a live band for our event so it should be great time. They will also have several tents outside to hold the SEVERAL THOUSAND bikes we think will attend. Due to the recent tragedies we have had with our fallen heroes, ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE FOR THE PHILLY POLICE SURVIVORS FUND, which has been severly depleted! We will have a nice setup at the Academy for the pre-ride along with refreshments and T-shirts for sale. Rooms are starting to be booked already for overnight in Wildwood so act fast.

Fishy,
This is on for real? I've heard some rumors about a ride, but people I know can't say for sure it's happening. Please confirm and let us know. Thanks

Absolutely for real, I am close friends with the VP of the Bullets. June 14th is the date, police escort from phila I believe all the way to WWNJ. NJ State Police are apparently gonna pick us up when we get over the bridge, also im sure there wil be some Phila Highway Patrol wheels in the ride with us as there were last year... Also Barbs HD is going to be following the mass of bikes with a truck and a trailer incase anyone has an issue with their ride. Barbs HD and some other venders are also going to be at the Moos Lodge with some tents probably selling T shirts pins etc... LE t shirts and ride shirts will be available at the Academy before departure and again at the moose lodge when we arrive. I myself will prob do the same as I did last year, ride down, have a sandwich and a beer and then hang out on the board walk a little while then rideback. Had a really good time last year. As I get more info or any changes occur I'll postem up but for the mean time all above is correct... Happy Riding hope to see everyone there...

Dust were you on an SV?? I was there from beginning to end, the pace was a bit slow but we had to wait for the HD's :nana: Hope to see you this year if you can make it. Everyday some more stuff comes up apparently now they will have some food and coffee and stuff at the academy before hand. For those interested they will be selling ride patches I believe for 15 bucks ( dont qoute me) def 20 bucks for t shirts and 5 dollars for ride pins. Should be fun.

I've only been riding a year, and these runs sound like fun and many are for a good cause, but, in all seriousness - how do you put up with being in a pack of HDs with straight pipes for hours?
