Hi all, i was just changing the oil on my bike and thought that id take the front sprocket cover off to have a look at clutch adjustment (if needed). After looking at a couple of youtube videos and reading The clutch mantra, i came across this and have no idea how to adjust this..
Also the clutch cable has no adjustment at this end.
Anyone know how to adjust this?

The clutch actuation mechanism is different on the Gen 3 bikes, if you really need to adjust the clutch lifter then you have to take the clutch cover off (right hand side of the engine) as that's where the screw-and-locknut adjuster is. And to do that you need to drop the oil. But you probably don't need to adjust it.

The only external adjustment on the Gen 3s is the cable adjuster up by the bars. In theory the new mech is more robust than the old one, which had a habit of losing ball bearings.

I see!! Thanks for the info. I dont need to adjust but just poking around on the new bike while i had time.
