I just bought my bike. I am new to motorcycles, just got my license 3 weeks ago. Not a newbie to doing my own maintenance though. Here are some of my questions:
1) I do not have a service manual or owners manual, do I need one?
2) Suggestions on maintenance? I just checked all the fluids and everything is full and at the fill lines. Prior owner says oil was just changed and it does look like it was. Not sure on the other fluids though. Thoughts?
3) Any other suggestions?

Remember that I am new and just dont know. I have always done my own car maintenance and I really have no clue on motorcycles. Any input is appreciated aside from negativity and sarcasm.

If you are planning on doing your own maintenance, get a service manual. Somewhere in this place there is a link to where you can download one. But you will have to search for it.

If your bike is a 2007, that means if the fluids are original, you might want to replace them. A service manual can tell you what you need and how much of each that you need to obtain.

Are the tires original? How is the chain?
