I recently did a valve adjustment, but I got ahead of myself when removing the rear camshafts. The rear pistons were not TDC when I removed the journal holders and the camshafts angled upward putting extra tension on the camchain. I switched out the shims for the proper size, but now the engine won't turn by hand. Could bent valves be the cause of my problem?

Update--
Camchain got wedged between gear and housing. I got it unstuck and the engine is turning freely. Still curious about possible valve damage though.

Very, very unlikely that you damaged the valves. More likely (but still unlikely) that you damaged the bearing surfaces or distorted the bearing cap. You're probably OK.
