2003 sv650 radiator

I recently had a crash and the radiator was bent. The cap opened a little and some coolant spill out. I called the service department of Suzuki dealer, and they said there is no way to repair a bent radiator, I need to get a new one. It costs about $500 canadian dollar. I still ride the bike after the crash and the bike seems OK. The temperature is stable, too. Should I replace the radiator for reasons other than a good-looking bike? Should I add more coolant? Thanks.

Also, the right turn signal seems to flash a lot faster than the left one after the crash, I can't find what the problem is.

my radiator is bent a little too. as long as its not leaking it should be fine. you should be able to get it fixed some where much cheaper, but the dealership would rather sell you a new one.

adding coolant won't hurt. when it gets warmer you'll need it more.

i don't know about the blinkers tho.

edit: make sure the radator is attached at the top left side mount. mine came off when i crashed and made it look more bent than it actually was. there no screw so it can just pop off

Yeah, my top left came off, too. I don't know if I can find some screws fit.
if your blinker is fast one of your signals is out on that side.

there is no screw on the top left it just fits over the nub stickin out of the frame. you have to lossen the other screws and wiggle it back on.
I got my bike with a messed up radiator, the moron that had it before me used 3 pounds of JB weld to keep it from leaking. I ended up having to get a new one because it failed inspection. Talk your dealer down, they should go easy on the price. I got mine from 500 for the radiator and 200 for labor, down to $490 total.
