Having trouble with the SVracing rearsets and converting it to GP shift?

Not wanting to change gears, thoughts?

The flip shouldn't be a complete 180, it's more important that the shift rod is close to perpendicular to the knuckle that actually rotates the shifter shaft.

That being said, I have no issues other than me not pushing down hard/quick enough.

Your shift arm needs to be repositioned. The arm should be 90 degrees to the shift rod to give the best shifting. Yours looks more like 120 degrees. You may need to purchase an extender for the shift rod if you don't have one already.

You shouldn't need to use an extender. But Russell is right -- you do need that angle to be 90 degrees (I was saying perpendicular, etc).

The SVRacing rearsets have the adjustability for it, but you may need to unscrew both ends of the shift rod a little bit to get the extra length you need -- mine aren't butted up like that.
