I need to replace the front end on my bike as I bent one of the forks last summer. Anyway, I found a good deal on a set of Showa Forks, however they are for an 06 and I have an 03.

Will the 06 forks fit my bike correctly without too much modification?

i've got a pair of stk legs/tubes from my 05, the left tube has an 'experience', fixable, but, you just need a tube, right??

Actually I need the left fork, I bent them, then tried to fix them, the right fork straighten fine but I couldn't get the left perfectly straight within a couple thou. And now the left is leaking slightly.

This would be the perfect time to upgrade to some F3 hybrid forks, you could then have adjustable preload and rebound. They can be had for much less then emulators, I bet you could even find them cheaper then the upper part of the SV fork that you need to replace.
