With your seat cowl-
I am assuming it comes with the pieces that covers the gap where the garb bar went under the seat. Right?
I'm looking to remove the grab bar, but keep my passenger seat and want to fill that gap. Is it part of the piece that replaces the bracket on the brab bar which your seat hooks under?
Sorry it sounds so confusing. I'm hoping you'll understand.

the two pieces come with the OEM cowl. the cowl also comes with another piece that acts as the latch. the seat and cowl can use this latch and therefore not use the grab bar. but the only way i know of to get the latch and plastic filler pieces is to get a cowl

that's how they fit. yours is the same way if you bend down to the right angle

No there is NO gap on mine. The fillers do their job of filling.

do you have any problems with your chain making a mess without the gaurd on?

I wanna take mine off but I don't want to be constantly cleaning the mess either.

i actually did the same thing originally, but you couldn't see it when i was on the bike! i weigh 230, though. but still...doesn't it sag down below the tire when you are sitting on it?
