So I blew the motor on my 02 svs and I ordered a replacement motor for it. The motor I order is an 03 sv motor. The guy at the parts place I ordered it from said it would be a plug and go motor. However after reading some of the posts I'm not sure.

Any mechanics or people who have actually done this swap... Please help me out!

Well, the '03+ motor is fuel injected, the 99-02 is carb'd. The motor itself is very similar except the boots for the intake will be different and the '03+ has an oil cooler and a PAIR system. There are other differences such as the cams, but it should bolt in. I do not know if the elctronics such as Gear sensor are the same.
