Part of me wants to just not sympathize with you at all. Honestly you can take a look at the crappy pictures and know somethings wrong. I purchased an 01 sv650s with 8k miles for 1,500 and its in PERFECT condition. As a matter of fact just rode 500miles on it (w00t first time in mtns anyways).

Dude seriously, if your going to pay 2,000 dollars for ANYTHING do some research and know what your getting. You sound like a flake and a dumbass to me and I don't care if this is your first purchase or not you can easily see frame damage. Your pointing out leaky forks and all this other crap in your other post yet you didn't see the wrong engine!?

This whole thing is either a fake which I can't understand why you would go through this much trouble over something like this or...
you sir do not need a motorcycle because you will just give the rest of us a bad name. Rethinking my last sentence maybe you need someone to help you and show you what intelligence is, Where do you live I'm sure someone will be happy to assist you a little.

and you've never made a mistake in you're life i'm sure. never gotten excited about something that turned out to not be what you wanted. well, let me be the first to tell you, on this forum, :hiding: this isn't okay. you won't make many friends saying things like that. so you bought a bike 9 days ago for a good deal... how about that fishy story of a broken signal the day you picked it up? unless you saw it happen, you're a fool for believing it. svr has an angry mob and if you continue posts like this you'll meet them all very quickly ;D

I'll gladly say where I live not because I want a fight because thats childish. Its because he needs help.
I live in Powder Springs Georgia, if you live close please let me know I will help you.

Seriously guys a motorcycle isn't a toy. Its a vehicle that if not treated correctly can kill you.

Laughing and saying have you never made a mistake and blah blah thats fine and dandy but eventually someone has to be the bad guy and call it like it is.

I don't want to see survival of the fittest play out because this guy doesn't know better.
I may have sounded harsh and rude and whatever but honestly I'm not trying to be that way its just to easier to say it bluntly instead of kissing ass.

I've made more mistakes than most and lucky I'm alive to type what I am but someone who has ZERO knowledge of motorcycles doesn't need to purchase one. I did a lot of research before I purchased my first bike and yes it was a death trap (not as bad as that one but bad...). I don't understand how this post is even playing out it seems too scattered and full of holes.

So in the end man, if you have the bike take it apart and sell it and try and get your money back because thats all its good for. If you were able to retrieve all/some of your money and no longer have the bike then simply call it quits for now and do some research. Find someone who lives near you who can help show you what to look for.

Edit: Going back and reading my post the last sentence sounds like a threat and I didn't mean for it to come out that way. I can easily see how thats taken though and was a mistake on my part. I still hold firm to what I was saying though. 2,000 dollars is a lot of money and a motorcycle is a HUGE commitment and one that shouldn't be taken lightly. Joining this forum was the best move you did just do a little more research and try and meet some friends here. Hopefully you'll be able to find a great deal and rub my face in it, I'd like nothing better for another person to become a fellow sv rider just please don't rush into things hastily and without knowledge.

Edit Edit: lol, The reason I brought mine up was to show him that after you do your research you can find a great deal. Sounds like I'm bragging ..was about the mtns but not the bike. Sorry I kinda feel bad now :( ..kinda...

well whatever happens, make sure this bike does not see another rider. it should be sent to the junkyard. don't pass on junk, it's just not cool.

I know this is a ghost thread but I just had a laugh reading it.

What the buyer should have done is ghost ridden the bike into a brick wall and had insurance pay for it... just kidding
Hope he got all his money back and afterwards someone set this POS on fire
