History
The bike was originally purchased in Hawaii from a marine stationed there. He had it until December 2010 when a kid in SC purchased it from him. The kid was a little too big for the poor little machine weighing in at what looked like almost 300lbs. I liberated her from the hefty fellow in Jan of 2011 and put a couple of thousand miles on her between then and June. Then she was loaded onto a ship and brought here to Guam. I was a little more than irate when my bike arrived in island laying on it's side due to being improperly strapped down (never under any circumstances use Covan worldwide movers for a motorcycle transport). She suffered a bend to the handle bars and a tweaked exhaust and I am still waiting on compensation. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and I am in for a GSXR front end and a new can instead of handle bars and a full exhaust!! The bars are not too bad and the exhaust is not restricted in any way so I have still been enjoying the beauty of blurred Guam landscapes. The twisties on the south end of the island are quite challenging given the slippery roads. It forces me to stay well within my limits and focus more on technique rather then all out speed which I am thoroughly enjoying. All in all, I love this bike!!!
