Good looking bike, not very common in yellow? Those little winglets over the radiator look great, what are they? Which bugscreen is that, it blends in well!

A word of advice. I used one of those soft bags on my previous SV and it ruined the pain, rubbed it down to the bare plastic in some spots.

Yeah, the yellow is not very common. Those winglets are really cool. I love them. The previous owner put them on. When you say "bugscreen" are you talking about the small fairing/windshield? If yes, no clue! Again, previous owner might have installed. Thanks for the advice about the soft bags. I noticed where the metal tie-down-like straps touch the paint there is a little leather like tab that is suppose to protect the paint, but I will keep an eye on it! Just put new Michelin Road 5 tires on it. Oil/Oil Filter change. I want to put steel braided brake lines on and change to a heavier fork oil. Thanks for the reply!

Ok, I'll have to try my Google Fu about those winglets/fairing.

On my bike, it was the bag itself, and not the straps/buckles that was the biggest issue.

I'm considering doing something about my fork as well. Perhaps a swap. It'll have to wait until winter though, now it's riding season!

Bike mechanic who owned, wrenched, and raced his SV bikes said a simple fix would be heavier oil. He said another step up would be getting new springs. I like the idea of putting a GSXR front end like everybody has mentioned!

Lajning, did you find anything about the winglets/fairing from my bike!? I'm curious!

No really, no. I think it's hard to find plastic parts for this bike in general. At least from the aftermarket industry. Its just too old.

I saw some similar winglets from puig for the newest gen sv650 though.
