I started riding this sv650 November 6th, 2013 without any previous experience. The original owner I got it from had a low slide on the freeway and it was made a salvage title. He replaced the tank and some other parts and added the carbon fiber slip-on but was otherwise stock. There were scrapes on the front fairing, lever ends broken off and turn signal scraped up. It was all superficial. I have since used it for daily commuting.
