Re: The Cafe/2Stroke/Single/Twin/Brit/Euro/Cool Bike Pic Thread

Why someone would go through all that effort and leave the mounting stanchions for the unused brake caliper is beyond me.

It's probably one of my #1 pet peeves on custom bikes these days.

note: This doesn't apply to bobbers or other stripped-down/raw customs. Those are supposed to look like stuff has been ripped off.

I'm with ya. I also think that the blue anodized bits on the R6 calipers should be blacked out.

Bike is still awesome, though - and he did a ton of the fab himself: seat pan & cowl, rear fender, front fender, headlight brackets, custom rearsets, fitment of period aftermarket swingarm, spacers & hub machining to fit the CB wheel to the R6 RSU front end, etc. etc. etc.

Oh, I fully agree it's a very well done bike. His skill is amazing and that's what's so frustrating! It would have been like 10 minutes with a grinder to make those pieces go away. Blue anodized stuff always look trick and it goes with the red, white, blue paint scheme, so they can stay.

Sorry no info this time. I stole them off a thread and did not even read the comments. I just saw the pipes and you came to mind - click click.

Me: You win, man.
He: At what?
