Calling all GSXR fork swaps

Who all has done the GSXR forks, and with what year/model parts?

I did mine with 2008 GSXR600 parts.
Vtecpaoche did his with 2007 GSXR1000 parts.
Bumblebee did hers with (I think) 2005 GSXR1000 parts.

Anyone else?

Not as many crazy people on the Gladius.

Just to note that if you use the K7 GSXR1000, you lose the steering lock.

Re: Calling all GSXR fork swaps

With the k8 600, you retain some steering lock, though it has play. Its allowed movement from full left to about 20% of the steering sweep.

Re: Calling all GSXR fork swaps

Yeah, that's be great if this thread wasn't posted in the Gladius Forum, and therefore expected to be shown to a Gladius oriented demographic...... But thanks for the advice!

Re: Calling all GSXR fork swaps

I got mine off a wrecked bike, the owner didn't want to fix so he parted out to make money for a different bike.
