Plug and play R/R option for the 2002?

Hey, working on a friend's 2002 SV650s, kind of a weird deal. Bike was purchased, 5k miles on it, previous owner couldn't keep it running, sat for a decade. I think we've cleared away all the problems accumulated over that decade, but I'm pretty sure the regulator is fried. New plugs, new gas, cleaned things out, and so on, new battery, etc. Is there a plug and play option for like Mosfet regulator? I see some differences of opinion on what plug to expect, and I haven't dug the regulator out yet to look. No trouble making new connectors if that's a better option, but something simple to pop in and check would be nice.

Thanks for any advice.

I don't know about Plug-in-and-Play but here's what I fitted to my 1999 Curvy last year,

You don't need a massive amount of skills to do a decent job.
