Green connector amperage

I'm looking at replacement plugs for the green connector available where i live.
-Does anyone know how much current goes through the connector wiring

- what is the amperage rating for the factory connector

Re: Green connector amperage

Everything the bike uses goes through the Green Connector power wire...so that would depend on your lighting and accessories. Easiest thing to do is to just bypass the GC power wire and solidly connect it with a butt type splice. No worries after that about how much current will be flowing.

Have you looked at your rotor magnets? They are the #1 problem that's been cropping up if charging issues are at hand. Not a bad thing to do just for PM....and even if you find them in place and OK...a bit of JB Weld between each is good insurance against them migrating in the future.

Currently have a crimp on the burnt wire but would rather have a plug if i can help it.

Being an S it's just got the two headlights.
It does have heated grips but they're usually off and maximum pull of 4 amps. Only at hottest setting and I've never gone that far.
They make minimal difference to the voltage

As for the rotors i recently had to replace the flywheel. 2 disintegrated magnets and one floating loose.
Yep did the jbweld for the replacement flywheel
